Jayarathne, Edward Jayakody, Victor Rathnayake, Amarasiri Peris, Neela Wicramasignhe, Clarance, Athula and Samitha, Rukantha and Chandraleka, Deepika Peris, Nanda Malini, Keerthi Paskuwel, Namal Udugama and specially our precious musican, “ Amaradeva“.Īnd so much more good singers who made us realize we have an exellent music which is really made the Sri lankans happy and still we enjoy their songs and still they are the music legends. why should we depend on a music of another nation? By the time passed, on 80’s and 90’s our music was grown so impressively and we had pretty good music and good singers such as T.M.
In the past(in 60’s,70’s) most of our music was depends on Indian music which is not agreeable at all.Īt that time we had our own good composers and we really should’ve done with them with our own music.
Even when we are sad or happy or angry, Music is the best therapy.Īs Sri Lankans, and as Sinhalease people we also have our own beautiful music industry as any other country and just as Indians our film industry also links with the music.īut our music industry is more than that. Music is a kind of beautiful language which almost everyone can understand and it really feels to our heart than any other language.
